Our Memorial for Jan!

This morning we received very sad news from our dear friend, Susie Light.  She lost her wonderful Mom after a long month of recovery from a fall.

Jan Bultrud was a very special person to us so we decided to spend today dedicated to her memory and prayed for her during our visit to the Grand Canyon.  Many things during the day reminded us of her.

The awesome sunrise over the Canyon seemed to remind us of the new beginning of her life in heaven.

We saw this beautiful California Condor soaring below the Rim of the Canyon and it reminded us of her beauty and gracefulness and now being safe and peaceful on the wings of the Holy Spirit.

As we took in the beautiful vistas of the canyon we thought of her and her charm, wit, sweet smile and of course her great cooking and the many tasty meals and treats we enjoyed together.

We will always remember her and keep her in our prayers.

We are thankful for having her in our lives!
