First Snow!

Last night was the first measurable snow fall here in the foothills of the Rockies.  We had about 2-3 inches here in Loveland.  It is beautiful, everything covered in a beautiful white.

We had a great tour of Longmont and Boulder yesterday.  Visited Celestial Seasonings Tea Company in Boulder, took their factory tour and loaded up on some great teas.  Very interesting place and a great history.  It all started in 1969 as a small cottage industry start up by gathering local herbs, spices and wildflowers and packaging them in tea sacks.  It has turned out to be the largest tea producer in the world.  The factory operates 24 hours a day, 5 days a week and produces half a million tea bags a day and has been voted the best place to work for several years in a row by Fortune magazine.

We also stopped at the Longmont Cheese Warehouse, where they have a 2000 square foot cooler with thousands of cheeses from all over the world.  We had a great gourmet lunch and purchased a lot of excellent cheeses for our trip.

Today we enjoyed the day in Loveland and was treated to Don's famous "Buzzards Breath Chilli"  It was great especially on a cold Colorado evening.
